Boo-YAH.
Yeah, so I just kicked the ass of a 10+ page paper today in a matter of a few hours...w00t for me. I don't know how I did it, it may never happen again, but goddammit, in the meantime, I'm going to be a big goofy biznatch and brag like all hell about it. There is an unbelievable amount of release in finishing something like that, and thinking that you might possibly have created something that isn't a giant pile of crap. So yay for that.
Busy weekend this weekend... it's "MacCon" on Sunday, meaning that all the nice happy gamers of my college - Macalester College, to the uninitiated, if you're out there - all get together in the Campus Center, game, watch anime, and generally hang out like the fun madmen and madwomen we are, and enjoy ourselves. Cowboy Bebop movie Sunday night, and boy howdy am I fucking stoked. Wahoot. I love that series. Break me off a piece of that Spike...but not that he beats out Web-Guy Josiah, not at all, hellz no. ::grin:: Believe me on that one.
So yeah... want to see Harry Potter this weekend, but not thinking it's gonna happen. Why? Because of STUFF, that's why. Never have I had such an immense volume of STUFF to do in a single weekend - at least it's good stuff. I'm trying to actually convince Web-Guy Josiah to give you all a little something-something on Sunday, maybe even make that a regular thingy, but we'll all see what he has to say about that.
I've received a handful of comments from people who say they want to get their own "W00t Bear" from my happy little Stuff section, a.k.a. the Blue Store, so yeah, dude, go get that, because Cafepress has made those for a limited time only. Plus... hell, it's a W00T TEDDY BEAR. Who wouldn't want a cuddly little l33t guy like that? ...Oh, and my other shirt designs: buy those too. Really. Show your pride for Blue, or yeah, and something. Please?
In other news: I'm going to be one of the oh, maybe two webcomics about gamers out there that's not going to be talking about the Game Cube or the X-Box. Why, you ask? Because I'm a fucking broke-as-shit college student, and fuck all if I have not the money for it (I was going to say Time, but Jesus God, if I had the money for it, I would MAKE the time for it. Great jumping wombats, would I ever). This summer I was striving for that beautiful prize of a PS2, and fell just short, much to my painful chagrin. I still long for that, and until I wrap my greasy little fingers around a PS2 controller that it attached to that selfsame console of my very own, I shall not cease seeking it out. And hey: just because I have not the fundage for certain systems, does not mean my l33tness at them will fade. Certainly not Blue's. Dear God no. But she, too, is not an owner of a PS2 quite yet, and her struggles to gain one will most assuredly be chronicled. Oh yes.
One of these days I'm gonna have the time and cash and internet connection to take full advantage of one of those tasty MMORPGs out there, and dammit, you all should ph34r me when I do. Well, that is, after I've had a LOT of practice with it. I can just see me bragging about it here, and getting my comeuppance when I get my ass online harder than Homer Simpson in that one episode when he was a food critic... and I bet not a one of you knows what I'm talking about, but that's okay, I love all you anyway. And I'd love you even more if you hopped on over to the Stuff section and snagged yourself a little somethin'-somethin'... hello? Where did everyone go? Aw, shit.
Aw, crap. It's my week to clean the bathroom and the living room of my suite this week - I live in a dorm suite with four other people, by the way, just in case anyone wanted to know... it's truly only a matter of time until I start berating my poor roommate online... watch for it! - and so I should get going and actually do something to make this place cleaner. On the plus side, though, my dammed cold is retreating. I broke out the mizad cough drop madness on its ass, and what can I say, it didn't have the mizad skillz to back itself up. Yeah.
Take it easy, peoples, enjoy, and have a fun weekend.
Love and leetness.

Nor any more youth or age than there is now;
And will never be any more perfection than there is now,
Nor any more heaven or hell than there is now.
