Feel the Force

Get yourselves ready, because we got some king-size servings of funny coming your way, not the least of which is the Return of Plotline - i.e. today's comic. Oh, the zesty taste!

First, before I forget - because everyone knows I do that a LOT - I'd like to give a quick shout-out to a couple mizad linkz, which indeed bear mention for their sheer coolness/randomness/what-have-you:

  • Looking for insanity and some of that spicy funny-dipped love we all like so much? Search no farther than Thwart.net for all your yearnings of madness and humor. Not only does a really nifty guy (who goes to Macalester TOO, no less! Hell, I even have Monday night shifts with him at the library lab. Small friggin' world!) run it, but they have us linked. Wahoot!
  • Not enough attention has been paid in the media to the ongoing epidemic that is Squirrel Hazing. But now, there is a voice in the darkness. Visit the Squirrel Hazing: The Untold Story to see the details on this horrifying phenomenon. That is, if you replace the word "horrifying" with "stupid-funny-happy-la-la," or something very like.
  • The excellent work of Ian J. must be given props - for he has the dubious pleasure of being the author of the latest webcomic included in Blue's reading. Big, crazy, spiky hair; bizarre side-quests; and more raw, undiluted humor than you can shake a llama at. That, my friends, is RPG World - and you should go there now. Well, after you read *my* comic, that is. Can't be too hasty.
  • Oh, and I nearly forgot: if you have some sick self-destructive desire that is currently unfulfilled or are just that special kind of masochist, you may want to check out my newly revamped homepage, otherwise known as Annie's Page of Giddy Euphoria (a misnamed locale if ever I visited it). Just so you know: since I have the mizad HTML programming skillz of a piece of cardboard, I made the thing in Netscape Composer 4.7, so of course it looks like a piece of doodie. Just deal. Please? Look, I'll give you my lunch money...wait, that's just pocket lint. Well, it'll make you one bitchin' sweater if you get enough of it!

  • Well, lesseee... I might indeed have mentioned before that I was working on some new backgrounds, and if you keep an eye open, you might just catch sight of them in the upcoming weeks. Also, the introduction (without much fanfare) of a brand NEW character is on the horizon, so stay tuned as always. Relax, folks, it'll be minor persona, introduced without much (if any) fanfare, so it won't hurt a bit - although it may sting just a *little.* You know, how you LIKE it.

I unfortunately neglected to do two important things yesterday, due to the fact that I have the intelligence quotient of carpet: one, call my parents (I'm a bad girl! ::sad face:: ), and two, go to bed at a reasonable time. The reasons for my late bedtime (read: around 3 AM) were, and I'm not kidding you about this: Mobile Suit Gundam Wing and a Playstation Magazine. My dreams retaliated against the assault of the latter, however, by throwing me and a few of my friends in a Final Fantasy-esque RPG when we were all, like, *beginning* characters, so we all really sucked, and I got poisoned and the cure made me go all loopy and pass out. Which of course meant I woke up and went, "What in the HELL?!" So yeah... let this be a lesson to you kids: never read gaming magazines right before bed, or you might just end up as a really shitty character in the RPG of your own twisted brain. Or something. Well, I've got to run, but you all be cool, check out my links, and chill. Word homies.

Your location for bargain basement funny,
    Annie "Blue" VM

    Maybe it's tomorrow
    And maybe it's not
    Maybe it's yesterday
    I just forgot

    "What Day Is It?"

Hey people...as of 7PM CST, my team finished our problem for the Mathematical Contest in Modeling...essentially 96 hours of work. Hopefully something will come of it, but we won't know for a little while anyways.
    Blah...
