Critical Failure on Humor Roll

Hey peeps.
Today may be technically the day *after* Valentine's Day, but right now, it's the V-Day itself, and I'm working on a limited time budget here, so this rant is gonna be rather, shall we say, "clipped." So I hope you all had a fun Valentine's - or, as my roommates put it, "Singles Awareness" - Day, and life looks good for you.
And just as a disclaimer, because I know a lot of people out there are single and hating it, I really don't like V-Day, even as a member of a very, VERY happy couple, because of its overhyped nature, I don't like it. Personally, I think there should be a "Singles Day" instated wherein all singles get neat little gifts from their coupled friends, and "interest gifts" from/to crushes and even sympathizing, also-single friends. Sound good? I hope so. Because this is only the SECOND time in my entire life that I've had a sweetie on V-Day (although hopefully, as they say, this will be an "ongoing thing"), and know how much the single life can suck. Hey, singles, just look at it this way: right now, YOU still have money. Whether we went all-out or NOT, we couples are all less some bling-bling. Okie-day? Good.
Gotta run, but two things quick:
1) Chris Morrison, the immensely-talented (and extremely NICE!) artist/creator/writer/comic demigod of Polymer City Chronicle (check the link to the right, yo) did us the honor of being the first official "big name" to link us, as we're currently featured in his weekly "Strip Search" of keen webcomix. WORD, Chris. We owe ya. ::grin::
2) My friend in AZ - who I will refer to only as "Skrat" - has recently been in a car accident, and although he's pretty okay, he's also pretty banged up, and had his Valentine's Day pretty much peed all over by the experience. Just if you could, wherever you are, send him some good karma, a spiritual thumbs-up, pour out a little of your water/milk/pop/whatever to him and his healin', that'd be appreciated. Word.
Well, gotta run. Be good. [or naughty, whichever one suits you - web guy Josiah]
Keep it real, yo.
