Yes, I know people have been quietly bugging me about it for a while, and I mentioned a little while ago that I was gonna do something regarding it, but here you go: a little somethin-somethin more regarding Blue and the whole being-a-ninja thingy. More in the future, because come ON: how could I *not* use something as cool as NINJAS?! Honestly.

Go me and my bad self. Five total DVD Freedom passes sold: three month-long ones on Tuesday (and 11-5 shift too, which is fucking WACKY) and two auto-charge ones last night, so we're up to $16 in the Get Annie A Dammed PS2 (And All the Trimmins') Contest. So WOO. And even... woo.

I'm going to mention this early because you all should go check this out directly after reading this rant and checking out my comic: a very talented young man, Tyler Woodcook, has just started a very cool new webcomic called the Nova Chronicles. I'd attempt to give a kind of plot synopsis, but his excellent drawings speak best for themselves (which is not to say his ACTUAL synopsis isn't good: that in fact rocks too), and it's a very innovative work. And I love superheroes, which happily his strip revolves around. Wheee! Give it a look for all those reasons, and also because this clever gentleman was kind enough to drop me a line himself giving me kudos for my strip (!) and I have a feeling his work has big success in its future. Yay.

Let me tell you about a little dream I have: one day MTV will decide to do a special show of "Cribs" for webcomic artists, and I shall be one of the lucky ones chosen. THINK about it! Me, displaying the wonder of either my parents' house or my dorm suite (complete with my very own single!) for all of cable TV to see, showing off stupid videos I've collected on my computer, and going on at great length about how I really wanted to give the main room of the suite a real "Zen" feeling so I covered it with these really awesome tapestries, neglecting to mention of course that they're up there because they're cheap and pretty and I'm broke. Come on, it'll be fun! Let's all start a letter-writing campaign to MTV to get that started! Yeah! And in the meantime, let's all wear funny hats and eat cat food! Why not? If we're gonna do this thang, let's not be pansy about it, but all get balls-to-the-wall serious about being complete nutcases. And in the meantime, I'll be over here pretending like I don't know any of you. Yay! (kidding)

Some lady at the store tonight claimed she knew Colin Hanks because her brother is supposedly dating the new blond girl on Dawson's Creek (supposedly Pacey's roommate, but fuck if *I* know), and she knows him, and once they hung out in California together and partied. And he's "really nice" and "was in the Valley once." I said something like "Wow! Next time when he's here, you've got to like, come in here and rent a movie, and tell me he's here, and I'll buy him some Raisinets or something, and say how cool he is, and we'll go out to dinner, and then be best friends!" I seriously said that.

I wonder if she knew I was kidding. She *did* laugh.

But I have no doubts that Colin Hanks is in fact quite nice. He just has that look about him. And I'd have no objections to being a friend of his, particularly if it'd help get me into a movie with his dad. W00t.
Gotta start getting to bed earlier. It's pretty sad when one's only interaction with the AM hours are from Midnight to 4. I've never had the problem before, but now I think I do, and I'll say it just to clarify it to all: insomnia SUCKS. You really descend into this bizarre superstitious state - well, before you just say "fuck it" and do whatever you feel like - where you get it into your mind that there's something you're MISSING that would allow you to sleep - like forgetting your slumber PIN number or whatever the shit - so you scramble to figure out what it might be. "Maybe I need food! Or water!" "Maybe I need to exercise!" "Maybe I need to change my underwear!" "Maybe I don't NEED underwear!" "The cat! What if I need to pet the CAT to go to sleep!" "A SWEATER! If I finish knitting this sweater, I can slumber at last!" "FISH! I need some FISH!"...and so on. It's just ri-goddammed-diculous. Here's hoping it doesn't last.

Well, I've got to go attempt to get that "sleep" thang I mentioned on, but you all take care and be well: this will be my last rantage for a little while, but I'll see you maybe next Friday, next Tuesday at the latest. Keep it real, people, and be excellent to each other.

Going the distance,
Annie "Blue" VM

Runnin' around, robbing banks
all wacked on Scooby-Snacks

- Fun-Loving Criminals
"Scooby Snacks"

Word people. Seems that I will be posting the rantage during next week's updates. I'll try to keep them entertaining, hell, I'll try to post them on time. I suppose that's about all YOU can REALLY ask for. But I'll try to be entertaining.
