Excuses, Excuses...
March 21, 2003
Yes, the comic speaks truth: Saturday is, in fact, the bridal shower, which now I am very much eager for and not so much freaked-out about. Visions of pink wrapping paper and appreciative cooing have been replaced with a well-timed realization that this thing is being put together by friends I have known for YEARS, and who are well aware that I would rather be stabbed by an irate Black Mage (see the splendiferous 8-Bit Theatre if you don't get that reference. Fooooool.) than engage in anything overly fluffy and full of the saccharine nature of many so-called "female gatherings." It'll be fun, and the way I hear it, food will be tasty and friends will be many, so what's not to like? ::big grin:: Woo, and wooooooo again. Bring it.

Yes, Josiah and I are in Phoenix now, as if you haven't guessed already. Yay family and friends and the sun and the hey-hey. Yaaaaaaaaaaaay Spring Break. ::waves hands in the air like I just don't care:: Or something. Tee-hee.

Oy vey. You never think you have a lot of crap until the time comes for you to actually go through it. CASE IN POINT: my old room, which is now my mom's study, and I was informed tonight of my need to do things like clean out the closet and all of the random stuff I have shoved into a cabinet in the corner. Closet is no problem: it's the HOJILLION folders and drawings and notebooks of ancient crap that I have stored away. Dear Jeebus. I was trying to be as heartless as possible in eschewing the things I felt I didn't need and tossing away a lot of useless crap, but man, I'm such a packrat, and all this stuff... I kept telling myself to keep all my old college notes because SOMEDAY, I was going to type them all up and save them just for kicks (I still might, you never know) The process will continue tomorrow with the EXTRA crap I have shelved away on top of my closet. Cross your fingers for me, I might not make it.

Hey, that's the Shut Up Bus on the horizon, and it looks to be coming for me, so that's all for now. New comic on Tuesday (like always), and a new arc, and something I'll need your advice on later on... but that's all yet. Peace out.

Your Prophet of the Funny to Come,
Annie "Blue" VM

Because Annie doesn't have music to listen to tonight, I imagine she was having difficulty coming up with song lyrics...I don't have one either.
