Arg. School again. Yet in less than two months, I will be hitched... and it'll be Mrs. Blue to you. Heh ::grin:: So in the meantime, I've got to roll up my sleeves and get back to work like a good student. And if anyone wants to do a guest strip for me in May - from the Friday before I get married to the Tuesday after the wedding - I'm accepting submissions now. So please! Don't be shy! Get your mad thang on with the submissions and the whatnot!
Life... ah. More settling of wedding affairs this coming week. My dearest Web Guy is visiting me - after half a week of me in Irvine, the other half in Phoenix (if you haven't been paying attention to the last few rants!) - and we're working hard to get things in order, as well as me working on school whatnots and otherwise being responsible. Must remind self I'm not still on vacation... blergh. Ah, but having fun is good. GLEE!
Speaking of having fun, bridal shower was fan-tab-boo-lous, in case you were wondering. Many thanks to those who attended, and helped make it great: you know who you are ::hug:: And if you weren't able to make it, love and the whatnot goes out to you anyway. Yeah, cuteness.
Did ANYONE know the Oscars were on Sunday night? The only reason I knew is that my friend Diane was at the POST-OSCAR PARTY for the LORD OF THE (freaking) RINGS, and yeah. ::sigh:: Yeah, but she got the hook-up. Neet. But yeah, the Oscars. Think I'll check on that really quick. Bloody hell, I don't even know who got nominated for anything... jeepers.
I think everyone agrees with me that it sucks that The Two Towers didn't win Best Picture. OH, shut UP, Chicago may have been good, but not THAT good. It's not a giant tragedy (like when Titanic beat Good Will Hunting and I screamed at the TV - no shut UP it was a tragedy, I tell you), but it still is stoooopid. What is the academy afraid of, refusing to award the Best Picture to a "fantasy" film? What the butt? Are they waiting until the LAST one or something? ::shakes head:: Bunch of morons. And Catherine Zeta-Jones looks like a scary English teacher I once knew in the publicity photo, like she's about to breathe fire. YEEP!
BUT AAAAAAH! Lookit that! Spirited Away won best Animated Feature! BOOYAH! Go Miyazaki! And if you don't know what I'm talking about you should just go see the movie or rent it or something! But yeah! (Oh hell, can you believe Eminem won for best song? Sheeeeeit, they can give that to rap, and can't give Best Picture to a fantasy movie?! What the butt)
Ah, enough frivolous b.s. for now. Now I must sleep, but word to everyone, and be well despite all the madness. Bloop.
