When Overenthusiasm Is A Bad Thing
May 9, 2003
Hey cats n' kittens... wouldn't ya know it, you probably expected not to see anything big n' beautiful until at LEAST around comic #175, didn't you? And then you get today's and see that I went all CRAZY n' shit. Yeah. Blame X2, and oh yeah, the anime Ranma ½ to some degree (albeit a lesser one) for today's result... I don't watch the anime much, and I honestly don't consider myself much like Kuno at all (GODS no!), but trying to decide between the two most wonderful X-Men EVER... well, it brought this particular scene to mind. It is a ripoff of a scene in Ranma - for the three people that will know that without me giving it away - but I think of it as a "homage" to both medias... Well, actually pretty much just X-Men 2. On the whole I could - no offense - give a flying wet slap about giving homage to Ranma, but when it can contribute to a "greater good" (if you call my offering here such), well, I'm all for it. Not that bad an anime, really, but not my favorite by far. Anyhow. Hope you enjoy, despite all the scrolling and the imperfect format. I just didn't wanna shove this one into the cage that a panel can sometimes be. Yeah.

Do you guys SEE where we are in the Rocketbox Top Comics List?! OH MY GOD! We are so kicking the stuffing out of... I don't know, things! And lots of things! W00T! Please for to give your love n' vote for us again! We like that much. Go me, go Web-Guy Josiah, go you and your badass selves. Props are due to you. Yay, yay, and MORE yay.

Crazy stuff in the life of Annie. Am now completely done with all the academic mish-mash that I had left to do: the last test - and final class of my undergraduate career - done on Tuesday, my last paper completed speedily today, as well as my last shift at work this evening. Kind of crazy, this preparing to have everything change. I feel like I should be gearing up to fight a final boss or something... I am about to "change discs" in my life, you know. You think I'd have to kick the ass of something big and horrible before I did so... well, maybe that was the whole craziness with the honors project, but I don't know. But that makes me wonder...

If your life was a video game, what platform would it be for? Would you be CROSS-platform if you could? Maybe a port from computer to console or vice-versa? My knee-jerk reaction would be to call myself PS2 material, but then again the complexity my life involves may call for a more prudent PC release. Hm. But enough of this.

Argh. Tiredness. And I think allergies have morphed into a sickness that is both wily and cruelly inventive. Gotta shake this mo-fo away from me before I graduate... before I get married at the very least. T'would be no good to have the bride sniffling and hacking down the aisle... yeah, that'd really make you wanna give me a kiss, huh Web-Guy Josiah? ::wink:: ::laugh:: So I'll head to sleep now, but you guys enjoy the comic. Woo.

Like the lady says...vote for us...please. There are those that are just behind us and just ahead of us...if you guys keep voting, we could probably be up around 5th place. Wouldn't that be cool? Consistent exposure, keeping our hits pretty high? Eh? Sound good? I thought so.

Why do we want more hits? Because we can support at least 10 times the amount of traffic we currently do...and I'm not one to let free traffic go to waste...and it's always cool to know that a bunch of people are enjoying the comic. So yeah...please vote.
