More With the Filler
June 3, 2003
Yeah, more with the filler comics. Sorry about that. Still no have the tablet and such, but my parents are driving out today, so around noon, not only will I get to see the Mom & Dad and show them Web Guy Josiah and my place (glee!), I'll finally be able to get things like my dresser, a microwave, and my desk. Wahoot! Yay for the moving in. I'll be glad to have my stuff here... things *are* still getting shipped, and a lot needs to be done still, but it's a cool process. We've acquired some neat furniture from Ikea, and the other day we got a beautiful fuschia phalenopsis orchid and a pair of big (living) bamboo shoots. It's really great. Our place is going to be GREAT.

Anyhow... yeah. The crappy thing about typing this newspost is that I have to do so while crouching on the couch, which is not the most splendid thing for my back. Yowtch. Bleah on that. It will be verrrry nice to have a desk again. Yay.

Argh, I wanna see Finding Nemo, The Italian Job, and something else whose name I conveniently forgot, but guess what? One problem with Irvine is there's no theatre in a reasonable distance from where I live except for a "cultural theatre" which admittedly shows nifty stuff, just not a Pixar production involving animated fishies. Aw, snap. I'll get my chance sometime, just felt like whining about it for a moment. Anyone with any opinions (NO SPOILERS... you've seen what Blue does to them) on those two flicks at least is welcome to send them my way. But anyhow.

GUEST ART. You know who you are. It'd be nicer to get that then make everyone sit through a comic that I do my best to piece together with cunning making up for my lack of tools. And as much as I like to exercise my cunning, I'd rather make a more quality piece of work with the tools I've grown used to, like my beloved tablet. O TABLET! ::dramatic sigh:: Plus, I'm a total sucker for guest art. Really.

Well, my back is yelling "OW" at me, so that's it for right now. See you all on Friday, and hey, bring a friend or two. More the merrier and all that. Toodles.
