Greetings kiddies. Back in Irvine, and things are good. In fact, things are very good, because my dearest Web Guy Josiah and I have been married for a full month now ::grin:: So that's a definite W00T. I still need to do important things like get a new Social Security card (yeep) and get a JOB (yargh), but that's all yet. Let's hope GameSpy likes me ::crosses fingers with fervent hope::
Speaking of GameSpy (nice segway, huh?) you should all check out Fate Drifters, the new comic by Lem "Hot Soup" Pew - who does GameSpy's Daily Victim, which is tremendously funny, not to mention Lethal Doses, which is also quite nifty - and his very talented girlfriend Elena (lucky Lem). Actually I've been meaning to link them for quite a while now, as well as another neat find, Wapsi Square (by the clever Paul Taylor). Add them to your reading list, you won't regret it ::smile::
Heh-heh... assets. I think that sound better as the plural of "ass" than just "asses." Like "mouse" versus "mice." Or something. Nevermind. My brain hurts. Got stuck in Dark Cloud and now have to perform the detestable act of checking a - GASP! - walkthrough. Sad but true. Sigh.
Still wanting to give this place an overhaul and the whatnot, but it's surprising how much one actually has to do without realizing it. And by the ambiguous "one" I actually mean "me." We move in - all the associated business with that - parents visit with all of my stuff - much more unpacking there - a lull week before the week trip to AZ, and the shopping we did there to pick up the last things nobody got us on our registries - and all the unpacking of that - and now, the last few things arriving here and getting put away. We may actually have less things to do - "we" really meaning "me" again, as Web Guy Josiah really has his own crap to do - so progress will be made, but in the interim, I'll do what I can. Any suggestions you got for me? Please make 'em.
Oh, by the way: stores are closing on July 1 ::sad face:: Nothing I can do about it, which suxx0rs without a doubt. So go crazy with the shopping now while you can ::wink:: Maybe someday in the future I'll have a store again, but after July 1, the ones I've had will vanish, never to return. Any ones arriving in the future will be A) in the FAR future, and B) rather different than the ones that will be disappearing shortly. So yeah... just so you know. Because yeah. And the stuff.
I should run, but keep it real. Or fake. Whatever works for you. ::nod::
