Heyyyyyyyyyy folks, I'm back. Big surprise, eh? And hey, lookit, it's those pieces of apology art that I promised you. GLEE! Yep, Annie keeps her word, you bet. ::wink:: But yeah.
Hmm. Not much to talk about, really: had my folks stay for the weekend out here in Irvine, and that was awesome and good, and I got more picture frames than God and "the best dress EVAR," and I got to see my parents, and yeah. It was good. And if you're all "How wimpy, she likes spending time with her parents," c'mere so's I can knife you inna face. Phbbbtt. It was really good to see my parents... we forget these things perhaps, being big and living off on our own, maybe even married, and suddenly when we see our parents we get that sense of comfort that they're there, and having them there is nice, even if maybe you don't get along all that way, and they don't get why you do things, you love each other, and that's all good, and you remember that. Anyhow. Being too squishy. YIPE! Moving on!
::yawn:: Arg, Annie keeps wanting to play Final Fantasy X... although do I hear from anyone that less puzzles would've been nice? Especially the stupid temples and stuff? Do I get an a-men? ::sigh:: I mean, puzzles can be neat and all, but when you get a game as plot-centric as FFX, you don't want to spend all your time dicking around putting spheres in fucking indentations and pushing pedestals around, you know? Maybe you don't. Me, I want stupid long-ass puzzles out of my plot-laden RPG. It's not peanut butter and chocolate: FFX and long puzzles/mazes/whatever-the-fuck do NOT go together and well. If anything, it'd be pralines and dick, with FFX being the pralines and puzzles being the... well, you get the idea. But if you haven't played the game, do so, and if you disagree with me and love puzzles, hey, get Columns or some shit and go crazy. Or better yet, go to the LucasArts store and see if you can scrounge up The Dig... it's probably my favorite game, it's got one dammed amazing system of puzzles and places to explore, it's all-around nifty, and hell, while you're at it, pick me up a copy too: I forgot who I lent mine to. Hurry! ::snaps fingers::
Argh. I ought to get going, but take care, you crazy peeps, and be well. Don't forget to bring your friends next time - enough seating for everyone here, you know. Bloop. ::wink::
