First of all... for all those of you out there who've been missing Booger, I tossed together a little random something for you:
Hope it fills that metroid-shaped hole in your heart... and don't worry, he'll be back soon, once I get this arc taken care of. And I hope you like the comics in the interim as well. Yeah. ::wink:: Enjoy.
So yeah... some flak has been thrown randomly around regarding things like my fretting over lack of updates from other comics. That's one BIG can of worms there, I tell you what. Sure, we as readers are getting something for free: a comic. We're coming out on top here, there's no question. However, I think the fan has a right to whine a bit when the author is honest-to-Bob slacking. Once you put something of yourself out there on the Internet with the GOAL of attracting viewers, of getting people to pay attention to what you do, it's your own responsibility to back those promises up with action. And if for some reason you find yourself unable to do so? Reevaluate said promises: take a comic from color to black & white, from daily to 3 times a week, et cetera. And let it be known that I absolutely detest "fan service" - or selling your characters to the highest bidder and have them do something the goes against the grain of how they've been written, or is just gratuitous and in bad taste - and I reserve my right to bitch about it. Hey, and you do too! If you think I'm selling out somehow, that I'm slacking on you (I mean, I am a hack though, remember, don't yell at me for not being Rembrandt or anything, okay) or something of that nature, let me know! Me likes the feedback!
