I promise that one of these days, I'll quit nabbing characters from Nintendo. Promise. More because I'm afraid of getting sued than being called an uncreative hack, which I've rather come to terms with and the whatnot. In the meantime... erm... LOOKIT! COMIC! ::darts away::

There are those who say I should not be Number One on Rocketbox's Top Ten List. I got a mail from one of them this past week, and it was rather sad and completely empty of any sort of constructive criticism. Now, being the fiend-like little wench I am, I of course must exacerbate the situation and ask you folks to vote for me. Now, if you no want to, I totally understand. And I crave constructive criticism, no matter what you wanna say... I've got my ears open, and I'm eager to write back. Just so you know, I'm glad you're all here. If I make something you enjoy, hell, all my insanity is worth it. If I make something that makes one person chuckle, then that's all I need. ::smile:: But yeah. Fish.

While I'm at it, a shout-out to a few friends of mine who are celebrating/have recently celebrated birthdays: Abaddon, Sylune, Blasphemina, Avatar, and anyone else whom I might have gotten a brain tumor and forgotten about (forgiveness, please!). Happy celebration of bein' here, guys, and I hope things are more than spectacular. ::wave:: ::hug:: ...What? And I suppose if you had your own online comic, you'd never use it to trumpet shout-outs to your friends? Feh. You got power, you use it. No matter how weasely and small it might be. Heehee.

Well, nothing much else to report... still searching the world for employment, fun, adventure, and chocolate. The good thing is that the last one on that list is actually pretty easy to find. SCORE! ::laugh:: Be well.

So...last time we updated it was like 2AM. There was a good reason for this. It ended up that the update script that I've been using, which I had recently upgraded to support stuff like syntax coloring (for editing html) and other such stuff, turns out to have a bug (not my fault, the editor widget has issues), so I spent like 30 minutes trying to track down what was going wrong, only to discover that it was not my code that was fucking up. I also discover that the same problem (because it uses the same editing component) in the source code editor that I wrote for my own personal use (PyPE for those that are interested). Bugger (yes, I know what it means).

Ah well, I suppose things could be worse. Let us hope that the Californis Recall Election goes off without a hitch next week, Davis stays, and none of the people on the ballot (except for Bustamente) gets any votes. Why? Because the only other front-runner, old Arnold Schwarzenegger, is not a nice guy.
