Well, She IS

Hey people. Before we begin today, I have a little something important I need to tell you, and ask you all for a little favor.
A very dear friend of mine is in somewhat dire straits right now: I'll leave out the gory details to protect her privacy, but she was essentially screwed-over by someone close who she depended on, and lost her job and place to live in one fell swoop. Hopefully she's got a place to go somewhere in the Twin Cities, but just getting there is probably going to take out most of her meager savings. What I'm trying to say is, please help.
Any change you could spare would be most cool, and I'm going to do my dammdest - if a bit spur-of-the-moment - to make it worth your while. I'm going to put together a wallpaper or something for those who donate $5 or more, and actually, if you're big on the givin' and donate $10, I'll send you that plus a piece of template art that was used in a previous strip (mistakes n' all... old fashioned PENCIL & INK, folks). And if you donate $25 or more (hot diggity day-um!), you'll get all that, AND I'll make a custom sketch for you of Blue or one of her friends (within reason, though... nothing gross or sexual, you cheeky monkeys!). And if you donate at least a buck, I'll put in your name for a drawing to win something small and nifty from the new upcoming (not revealed yet!) I'm Blue store. WEEE! ::grin:: So come on, people, please give: if not for stuff, then for my dear friend, who needs your help. Thank you, so much, to everyone. I can't tell you how much this means to me.
In other news: I put cheese in my soup. I put it in/on just about EVERYTHING, really. That's just the way I was raised. There are only a few soups off-limits to cheese - clam chowder being one of them, in case you were wondering - and other things that are somewhat obvious that cheese does not belong with. I have a connection to dairy that makes it clear even to the most dense observer that there is no way I could be lactose-intolerant. I guess it's the Dutch part of me. Which is really the "ALL" part of me, being that my bloodline consists of Dutch, Dutch, and more Dutch (boring, maybe, but rather easy to chart genealogically). But yeah. Cheese is good. And if you can carve it as masterfully as Blue seems to? Then yay. No, no questions: just YAY. Good.
Remember that thing I talked about on Friday? You know, that whole "2004 I'm Blue Calendar," and choosing your favorite strips for it? Yeah, that's still going on. SO TELL ME WHAT STRIPS YOU WANT IN IT, BEEYOTCHES. Where's the love, yo? ::chuckle:: ::wink::
Anyhow. I'm out. Be well and peace.
