The Word Of The Turtle Is Law

New comic, new rant. That's the way it goes, people. Shall we begin? ::wink::
So this story is actually true: I now (as of a few weeks ago) picked up a GameCube on the cheap, and am borrowing a copy of Animal Crossing (examined here by the fandamntastic Insert Credit peeps, whose site you should be checking out anyway). And I talked to the damn turtle. And now Josiah and I are stuck turning on a goddammed lighthouse every night for a week. Why, you might ask? Because... I don't know. The turtle told me to. I wanted to seem cool for the mayor? These animals don't even like me writing them letters unless I do it in a boring style format, why should I care? BUT I DO. It's part of me, and being a gamer, I guess. It's part of me being me, wanting to do well. But I'm talking about this for too long and being retarded about it. Anyhow. On to the important stuff.
So you know, I'm done with the calendar. I've ordered one for myself, and we'll see how it looks when it arrives: Cafepress doesn't have the best system for assuring quality on this particular project, so I want to make sure first-hand that this is something people will be happy with - that I will be happy with - before I release it to the general public. It will, for certain, have 12 delicious months, with one fantabulous cover, and chock-full of strips involving gaming, ninjas, and a whooooooole lot of Booger the Metroid, because you guys love him so (and he loves youuuuuuu), and all this goodness will run you about $16.00, plus whatever shipping method you choose (the Super-Saver type is actually 5-10 business days for $2.50, which isn't too bad). I hope y'all will consider adding this little piece of goodness to your collection... if not just as a calendar, then hey, think of it as a bunch of nice, low-priced posters for your delight ::grin:: Whee!
I am not, however, done with bugging you folks for donations. My friend still needs help, and fuck if I'm going to quit trying to do my very best to aid her. Remember, for donating...
At least $1 gets you a chance to win something small and very nifty from one of the "I'm Blue" Stores
At least $5 gets your name in the store raffle, and a neeto wallpaper by MEEEE
At least $10 gets you the name in the raffle, the wallpaper, AND the original artwork I use in my scans for the comics
...and at least $25 gets you all that, PLUS a custom piece of artwork of Blue and her friends, drawn to your tastes (within reason, that is... you know me!)
...So yeah. Please, PLEASE donate, people. A kind alert reader Jason (from UCI - Woo us! ::wink::) actually slipped us a fiver the other day, so he's going to get his wallpaper and chance to win somethin' nifty from the store... don't you want to be as lucky as he is? Plus there's the whole warm fuzzy feeling of helping someone out who needs it... and that's always good. Awww. ::smile::
Oh, and voting for me in the Rocketbox Top Ten is always nice. Weeee!
I should get going - am working on a rather intriguing thingy that you'll hear about on Friday - but be well, people. I'll think good thoughts at you like I always do (which is WAY better than me thinking something at you like, say, lobsters or whatever, but yeah).
