Aww, He's Like A Big Life-Sucking Kitten
February 6, 2004
Hey everyone. Sorry if today's comic seems a bit brief: it's been a hell of a week, with me training like crazy to be the new assistant manager at my store, and essentially taking two night people - Web Guy Josiah and myself - and forcibly turning them into morning people. Believe me, it's not pretty, and an average of 6.45 hours of sleep is taking its toll. More of the funny on Tuesday, I promise you. I plan to have my shiznit together by then, and I'm not going to let that slide by unnoticed. I keep my promises, yo. ::wink:: Word.

Oh yeah, and short rant tonight, too: Josiah has a presentation to brush up on, and he's a tired panda just like me. As for affairs to settle, let me extend my most heartfelt thanks to an individual who donated a substantial sum of money to help my good friend in needÂ… they asked that their name not be mentioned, but they know who they are, and I know I couldn't let their act of kindness go by without at least giving my thanks (in this anonymous fashion) to them where the world can see. They know who they are. ::hug:: to them. Thanks again for helping out so selflessly: if you ever need help (Bob forbid!) know you've got a friend in me (as you SHOULD!) and in the "I'm Blue" community. Yay.

And? The new Quiznos' ads feature the Spongmonkeys from the strange and beautiful rathergood.com, which you should all check out because it will make you laugh so hard you will throw up. But not really. Throw up that is. Because you WILL laugh. Very hard. In that rather good way.

...What? I fucking told you I was tired!

Le sigh. Anyhow, people, be well, take care and all that, and I send my best out to each of you. Do something cool with it. Wheeeeeeee!

"We Are All Made of Stars"

Hey peeps. So, it has gotten to the point where we have outgrown our current free 1 gig of traffic/month. Ah well. That doesn't mean we're going to stop being able to offer up comics near the end of a month, that just means that all comic hosting is moving to a different site. For the last few months, much of the archives had been hosted on a P166 that sat under my desk in the office, but I have just now uploaded the entirety of archives (and latest) to a host that offers 5 gigs/month. Hopefully that will last us for a while. If not...well...there's always the P166 or P4, 1.7ghz machine in my office. So yeah...things should be like they were before...except maybe faster.
