Mmmmmpfirgle ::falls over:: Gah. Sorry. I tired: crazy night tonight, and the sudden warmth here in Irvine means windows can be open again, means sweet soothing cool (NOT cold! W00T!) night air, means Annie go all sleeeeeepy g'night THUMP. You know. You understand.
Had an fantoobulous time with the parental units being here, got food, went to an aquarium and saw fishies, and such. Fun-fun-funness, and a bunch of sweet pea blossoms. Glee! Just so you know.
And yes, the news about Sam & Max is as sadly true as the picture - actually scanned in from the instruction manual of Champions of Norrath in today's comikken - you see, and we are all the poorer for it. Steve Purcell himself (the creator of the irresistible duo of dog and rabbity thing) wrote a letter expressing his hurt astonishment at the game's cancellation, as it was apparently going spectacular and looking great. Like a great relationship ending for no reason at all, or maybe LucasArts found out it has herpes or something. I don't know? This relationship metaphor is vaguely uncomfortable. I blame the Champions of Norrath picture for making all this take a sorta sexual bent. Damn you, CoN, for your rampant hypersexualization of female characters, and the erudite wizardess whose tits are LITERALLY as big as her head. Honestly, what woman actually has bonochies that large? I'll give you a hint: her name start's with "A" and ends with "nna Nicole Smith." And that ain't right. But yeah.
