Yep, Blue's actual name is "Blue," and her siblings' names are finally revealed (plus the plain fact that she HAS siblings). I thought her as a middle child worked out very well for her personality, and also in the fact that name-wise, she served as perhaps the cautionary tale not to name your kids after colors that are not also things like flowers. Redmond is fine, Violet normal... but Blue gets people confused. I'm still thinking on her middle name. It's not going to be another color. Sorry to disappoint? Dunno. Anyhow... beans. Wow, I'm a tired Annie. Have to FINALLY get my California driver's license tomorrow - I've already got one from Arizona, so this means I just have to take a paper test... GAK - so keep your fingers crossed for me. [she gets 3 tries - web guy Josiah]
I made sure Booger had his own little part in today's comic... I myself like the little "hand-off" that is his feeding time. I know no kitten of mine will ever be so matter-of-fact about getting their food, or so appreciative of its qualities ('tis one of the elements of cats, always acting with a "well, this will do, I suppose" matter towards food), but that's okay. And yeah. Crap, I have got to stop making rants when I'm really tired. I think I'm making everyone else yawn... whoops. Sorry! ::sheepish grin:: My body's trying to find a balance between my opening and closing shifts, my desire to remain a night person and my inclination to go to bed around 12... it's not good, I tell you what. But oh no, poor me... I know I really have it great. No sympathy for the well-off whiner ::wink:: I'll shut my trap now.
So... I've had a small number of e-mails in the last little while from readers here in Southern California saying hey, wondering if I'm really in the Irvine here in CA (I am), and so on. And I got to pondering... would folks in this area ("this area" pretty much meaning "within driving distance, I guess") want to do something like hang out sometime, maybe play games, or something? I honestly don't know what, or where: I'm just gauging interest right now. Maybe someone has some ideas? Maybe someone has some contacts? Maybe someone would like to go eat some cake? I know I would... but well, that's another subject entirely. But just let me know, via the usual means or e-mail or smoke signals or owl or whatever.
And? What would you people say to a FORUM here at I'm Blue? Good? Yes? No? Peanut butter? And so?
