So I hoped to not be so tired I'd be incoherent when I wrote the rant tonight. ...Um. Not so much. Sorry! ::sheepish look:: What can I say, I got up early, and worked late. Plus I have this thing with not being able to eat a lot of bread without it making me sick, and I just devoured a tuna melt for dinner that my tum-tum is now punishing me for, making me feel all woogy and bad. ARRGH. Must stop thinking about it, thinking is making me sicker... blaaargh. Anyhow.
I totally ganked the motto (that actually IS my motto) from a very clever man named Taavo Smith, one half of the twisted minds behind the sketch comedy troupe that I was in back in college, Bad Comedy, and I thank him highly for it. Also? He's the one to blame if the Latin is incorrect. Heh. And I will let the people know that Derec took a few years of Latin back in high school, and has always remembered the word for "octopus" because he, like many tender youths just beginning to learn a new language, looked up all the dirty and weird words in the dictionary FIRST. Hell, I still know that "bullfrog" in German is "Öschenfrösch" and "lollipop" is "Luschibonbon" (bad spelling, but eh). And I'm not going to tell you what "Selfbefreundigung" means: you'll just have to guess (and Babelfish won't tell you, either. Heh). But anyhow.
People have asked about the puppies from last post, and here are some quick related answers:
* Yes, they are completely cute.
* No, they are not MY puppies. They are the puppies of a breeder that I got to visit briefly with my mom when I was in Phoenix.
* They're not-quite-two-week-old English cocker spaniel puppies.
* They really are very cute, I do agree.
* Sadly, neither you nor I can have the puppies. I know this is sad.
* Again, they are utterly adorable. One fell asleep in my hands while I was holding it and I just about died, it was so cute.
* SO. CUTE. End of story.

Whelp, we're no longer #1 on Rocketbox Top Ten: spot now PWNZ0R3D by Fragile Gravity. After all this time nipping at our heels, they finally got us... such is life, and I can't think of a better comic to bestow the honor upon. ::smile:: Congratulations are in order for them. Enjoy their goodness, but don't forget we luvvvvve you!
As for me? Sleep now. Comic again on Friday. You know the drill. Oh, and Web Guy Josiah's birthday is on Wednesday - everybody remember to say a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to him now, y'hear? ::wink:: Be good.
