There's One Born Every 1D8 Rounds

Quickly: apologies for Tuesday's lack of rant. Reason? I'm dumb. Really. I was all, "oh, I gotta play more Final Fantasy X because yeah." Forgetting I didn't have a rant ready. AND that I hadn't given anything to Web Guy Josiah. ::falls over:: Yes, I'm stupid. You would think that over two years of this would have a sort of, you know, SCHEDULE imprinted in my mind. Especially considering I didn't even miss any updates when I was graduating and getting married. But no. My stupidtude overcomes ALL ODDS! I'd say something like "woo," but I think that'd be too much. ::sigh:: Yes. I'm dumb. We'll move on now.

IMPORTANT NEWS! ...So you all like comics, right? Of course you do, you're here. But print comics? Eh, that could be new to you, you never know. But if you haven't read The Losers - a badass series from DC Vertigo - you are losing out big time, and you DON'T EVEN KNOW IT! Gah! The series is awesome and well-written and fantastic... so of course it follows, as per Murphy's Law or something, that its circulation sucks. ::shakes head:: Damn shame. But you know what? You can do something about this! YES YOU CAN! AND YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO! And it's easy, because the kind and clever Ken Lowery has offered up the Great Losers Giveaway, where all you have to do is e-mail the bloke and tell him why YOU are the biggest loser EVER. Seriously. And your reward for first through fifth place? You guessed it. The Losers comics. You damn right. ::grin:: So if you've never enjoyed the beauty that is The Losers, write up a humorous (no lists of suicide attempts or failed relationships, GAH) e-mail about why you suck and send it off, and you might find yourself with comics so good, you'll think you're damn LUCKY. Myself? Hell yes I'm in the running! ::wink:: I forgot Tuesday's update and just spent an entire paragraph explaining how dumb I am, you think I don't have the #1 spot locked down? ...Well, maybe I don't. But I'm in the top ten. Or something. But yeah. Check out his site (as linked above) for more details, enter with joy, and read the rest of his site and soak in the goodness of Ken's humor and nifty links. Not only do I highly admire the guy for going so far to save a series he loves, but he actually linked us too! So I owe him a pretty picture. ::grin:: I'ma have to cook up some Blue ninjaness for him soon. Yay! ::grin:: Anyhow. Nice guy, great comic that needs to be saved, good cause, excellent site. GO! Now! Blue commands it!

All right. That's it for me. And just as a note: again I am addicted to a VH1 list-type thingy, the 100 Most Outrageous Celebrity Moments is funny as hell, except of course for Andy Dick. The man begs to be pushed over a very high balcony. Or maybe I'm still pissed that he was such a lazy asshat when he was on the celebrity episode of Trading Spaces. I'm particularly angry at him for being mean to Genevieve, but hell, he's lucky he wasn't mean to Vern... or I'd have fucking KILLED HIM (conversely, of course, if he'd have been mean to Hildy, I'd have sent him flowers and a fruitbasket or something). But yeah. Tune in next time for more babbling and madness, and peace out for now.
