That Can't Be Good

I warned the two clever individuals in the UCI RPG Club that I would say it, after spending roughly two full hours BS-ing with them and regaling them with tales of my gamery friends back at Macalester, and movies I hate, and books they should read, and on and on: but they've sapped all the Funny out of me. All gone, no more for the rant. ALLLLL GONNNNNNE. Very sad. But in other news, I've got myself a free copy of Palladium's After the Bomb RPG, which was featured way back when in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Other Mutants book that I had WAY back in the day and have wanted since then. It has - amongst other things - a feck-load of awesometacular mutanty animals, and the coolest art in it in the history of EVER, including (but not excluded to):
* The most bad-ass mutant platypus you've ever seen in your damn LIFE
* A very sad big mutant bear (he just wants his HONEY! Poor thing!)
* A meerkat or something that is totally tripping the fuck out
* A goat dressed like a stereotypical college professor
* A cute kangaroo-ey thing that should totally be packing a gun
* A wee little mutant mouse with a cannon that is both badass and adorable
* ...And MORE!
Woo. Love that book. Good stuff!
So progress with ZotCon continues - that's THIS SUNDAY, folks - and it's going to be so awesome it should nearly be illegal or something. Seriously. DAMN FUNNY. And if the fact that I'm having a panel doesn't entice you, maybe the showing of the hilarious Angus Reid film Dopplegamer 3 WILL (trailers and such found here, because Angus is wonderful in many, many ways). And because he is also completely wonderful, Chris Morrison of Polymer City Chronicles (the comic of fun as big as its boobies! Heehee!) not only told the peoples about the nifty ZotCon-ness, but linked us to boot. WOO CHRIS! I will forever let the people of this meagre globe know how totally nifty you are. Yay. ::grin::
Oh yeah. And check out this film - Rockfish - because it's DAMN AMAZING in EVERY WAY, and I loves it to the DEATH. And check out Achewood, which I've just gotten around to reading and am about to DIE because it rocks so much, and you should also maybe check out this if you're interested at all in System Shock 2: the link was given to me by one of its creators (a nifty bloke in the True Meaning of Life forums - forgive me, I forget precisely WHO) and although the project is officially abandoned, it sounds nifty and cool and who knows, someone here might give it life againÂ…? You never know...
Anyhow. That's it for me for now, but take care and enjoy the stuffness. Woo.
