Hey peeps. Short rant, as the in-law units are currently both in town and staying in my domicile, so in spending more time with them, I spend less with you. It is what us meaty creatures call "sharing," I believe. But I do hope you all enjoy the comic (as always), particularly because I was lulled by the beggings of various fans to see him, because he is so loved, and the so on. I love him too so making a comic for him was not difficult. I should say for those not in the know, the screenshots I post are from Super Metroid - if you want to know the backstory, I shall point you here, and leave it at that. Great site, too. ::grin::
Anyhow. LINKS:
* Dinosaur Comics. Same strip. So many different ways. How much humor CAN you squeeze out of a single strip layout? SO FUCKING MUCH. I weep with its beauty. So go see it, goddammit.
* I have not listened to these fellows as yet: but for being a band called "The Advantage" and covering Nintendo songs, I fail to see how I could NOT like them. Unless they were all a ruse, or instead of actually covering Nintendo songs they play Barry Manilow tunes or whatever. That would make me sad. But I will roundly assume they do not and say go there and listen. I'll do it if you do. And I will so you GOT TO. Yay for my logic!
* I do not wish to offend anyone with delicate religious sensibilities: as I have mentioned in the past, I do not enjoy getting stabbed in the eye over such matters (or even at all). Keep that in mind as you go forth and read Spider-Man's Greatest Bible Stories.
* This man draws fucking GOOOOOD. It should be noted that since he has some life drawings (i.e. nuuuuuudes) on his page that it is Not Safe For thy Work, but good for home viewing (assumably). If you do not go you will miss the fact that the dude is drawing an "Evil Dead" comic, and if you miss that you are TEH STUPID. Because Evil Dead is awesome and so is this guy THE END. Ahem.
