Arachnitoilephobia
June 14, 2005
How-do, kind folks. I would venture that each one of us has been in a situation similar to what Blue faces - whether it be via that medium (so to speak) or in an alternate one, such as the shower. In Arizona, where I grew up, it was commonplace to find roaches almost anywhere, no matter how clean your house was - they simply enjoyed the heat - and more than once I stepped into the shower only to see I was not alone, and scream and leap directly backwards out of the tub in efforts to escape my insectoid companion. It is worth noting that while searching for a reference photo for Blue's particular harrier that I noticed that the specimen in question was found in the very city in which I live, which tells me to always scan the area before doing anything private, lest I have unwanted company of an arachnidan nature. I would almost venture that it looks somewhat cute, except for a childhood incident where a substantially LARGER creature attached itself to my chest from over eight feet away. You can imagine I was less than gratified at this turn of events. Anyhow.

I regret to inform you that I am a very exhausted panda - having worked literally all evening (aside from dinnerness) on the comic - and this will have to be a very short rant. And also very sadly, due to (a not owned by us) router-based stupidity (bleargh), Internet is slowed to a snail's pace at the apartment, so your linkstravaganza will have to be delayed until Friday. Many apologies. But we have for you savory comic goodness: we strive not to disappoint. Keep an eye out, and hopefully come Friday we will have something that you like. Be well.

Striving for Mediocrity,
Annie "Blue" C
