Hey folks - short rant again, because I am tired and so on. Friend visit this weekend was 31 flavors of TOTALLY AWESOME, and yay. Annie and Web Guy Josiah love the visits. ::grin:: LINKSTRAVAGANZA will return on Friday, along with a more substantial rant, and - of course - a follow-up as to WTF is going on in today's. Just to make sure that if you feel there should be one, there will be. You're not crazy. However, the casting decisions for the Dungeon Siege film ARE. BURT REYNOLDS as King Konreid? Not even kidding (I wanted to do a comic about it, but all I could come up with was stark amazement and Blue saying "Burt... fucking... REYNOLDS" over and over again in incredulous horror). But yeah. Also? What the crap is up with Leelee Sobieski being there? And someone needs to make a support group for John Rhys-Davies, seriously. "John, you were Sallah in the Indiana Jones series, you were Gimli in Lord of the Rings, you are BETTER THAN THIS MOVIE. Learn when to say NO. Because mother of God, we do NOT need to see you in Chupacabra." It's gotten to the point of him being in SO MANY bad sci-fi movies that I think the Sci-Fi channel has a gun to one of his relative's heads and is FORCING him into all this. Anyhow.
