Actually, I Sort Of Do

First and foremost: Webcomic Telethon. Go, read, pledge, DONATE. Seriously. Every little bit helps.
I must admit: I do in fact use a LOT of cotton balls. I cannot argue their extreme utility for hygienic functions, such as applying astringent (which I must daily use, lest my face become Acnetropolis, Zit Capitol of the West), removing eye makeup (because if you just try to WASH that shit off, fuck, mascara will end up on your goddamn eyeball, and let me tell you, you will not like that one bit), and applying face powdery makeup shit (I don't know what it's called, it was a gift, but it makes my face less shiny, which is good because I don't want to look like I've just shoved my visage into the Shine-O-Ball-O at the local bowling alley). All in all, they have great utility, and thus it should be no surprise that they should end up, spent, in my trash in such great numbers.
The OTHER thing about the strip that is true is that our Internet does indeed - to quote the vernacular - "suck a fat nut," as I have before remarked. This is due to incompetence and stupidity on the part of our Residental Network, which is apparently only really made up of two guys. See, because recently we had a problem, and one was on vacation, and the other didn't know how to fix it. This was no exceptional problem, it was a normal-type issue, and I have to wonder: Second Guy, if you can't fix shit like this, what the fuck do you have your job for, and why are you allowed to keep it. He's not doing his job. Shit, I bet I could not do his job better than he could not do his job. I could show up to work, flip everyone off, steal their staplers, and then just LEAVE. I could find roadkill and display it prominently on the server racks. I could suck worse than he could, because that really seems to be his actual point, I have decided, because him actually doing his job doesn't seem to be a real, you know, priority. I dunno. Maybe it is prolonged exposure to the real world due to a painful lack of real Internet has made me this bitter. Or maybe it's because ResNet just fucking SUCKS. It could be either, really. I'd actually probably put my money on both.
Anyhow, enough vitriol for now. ON WITH THE LINKS!
* One thing that you will for sure notice in today's comic is that I have AT LONG LAST switched my font away from Comic Sans: as a point of irony, the name of the new font is I Hate Comic Sans (no kidding), and I got it from the wonderful site Ban Comic Sans (courtesy of alert and always helpful reader Justin, seen once in this E3 sketch-strip). Although I may not be 100% in concord with the extreme views of the site, I do agree that this stupid font is overused. Trust me, it will be but a short time, and this here font will be totally gone from my website. GONE I TELL YOU! It shall be swiftly replaced by something more respectable, and at the very least, easier to read. Part of a process, there initially by the necessity of it being between this and Arial. Times have, as you can see, changed.
* SWEEEEEEEET! The Bone game is out! That's Jeff Smith's Bone, and as I hear it he was really involved in making this game, including helping select the voice actors for each of the characters. Having played the demo (and planning on buying the game ASAP), I can assure you it's seriously fun, a good old-fashioned adventure game of pure awesomeness, and you should all support TellTale - the makers of the game, who are NOT going through a publisher but are putting this out all by themselves - and buy this damn game. DO IT! It's only $20! No joke! $20 to not only get a great, hilarious, fun game, but to support a developer with a dedicated, talented staff (many of them people who left LucasArts after Sam & Max 2 was canned) taking a risk of going at it alone. SUPPORT THEM! GET THE GAME! NOWS! ::widens eyes threateningly:: Do it or me = angry ninja, and you don't want that!
* HOLY CRAP, Shaolin monks gonna make their OWN movies. That is all I have to say, because that is so awesome it just speaks for itself. DAAAAAAAAAAAAYUM!
* You may or may not be into cosplay: but whether or not you are, you HAVE TO check out this young lady's Zelda costume. DAMN. That's Twilight Princess Zelda, by the way, and I'm gratified to learn she's holding a sword. New Zelda is no Sheik, but she shows much promise. CRIPES I can't wait for that game. But! This costume is amazing, and she rules. Woo!
* NINJA MUSIC VIDEO! Man, that ninja is awesome, and I like his style, and something about him just seems to make people DANCE. And I am totally down with that. Watch it!
* Finally, I saw this contribution of this comic's creator, Leigh Dragoon - By the Wayside - on the Webcomics Relief Telethon, and let me tell you, it's awesome. Beautiful art, arresting story - and that's just Book One! Book Two seems to be down for now, but in the meantime go, read, and highly enjoy, as I did. GOOOOOOO!
Crap in a hat, it's almost 1 AM, and I gotta get me some SLEEEEEEEEEEEEP. In the meantime, be good, and have a fun weekend... I got me some NEWS for you on Tuesday
such that it made me run around the apartment in glee... but you'll see then! MUAHAHA!
