Madre de dios! I have been working hard for you duckies TODAY, that I have. Sadly, this also means your Annie is very very tired, and needs her sleepies. So offer you my links of the week, quick-like:
* I know it's on the UK Amazon site, and most of my readers are in North America, but seriously, wherever the hell you are in the world, BUY THIS BOOK: Movies In Fifteen Minutes. I've been an avid reader of Ms. Cleolinda's stuff on LiveJournal for sometime now, and every person I've ever shown her work to has laughed themselves hoarse. She makes with the funny, you better believe it. I'ma get me this book, and you should too.
* Frustrated by having to keep the sound down on your TV while gaming because of annoying neighbors or roommates? Having hearing difficulties but still want to game like a badass? Ever gone "wait, WHAT did they say?" in a cut-scene, only to not be able to rewind? Frustrated by shitty voice actors in games? Even if you aren't any of those - you should sign the petition to push adding more captions and subtitles to video games. As a developer who worked with part of this, trust me when I say it may take a little extra time and effort to put it in, but it's more than worth it.
Blergh. Brain dying now. Me go sleepies - see you all on Tuesday. JUST WAIT!
