Again with the drama! Ooooo, and perspective drawing... I can't TELL you how many times Web Guy Josiah probably thought I'd lost my mind because I was staring at pencils at weird angles, holding them in-between my fingers with little strips of paper (the writing-side being the way the characters were facing). Getting the whole tree-looking-right, sickle-pointing-the-right-way, tree-on-each-character's-correct-side thing was a challennnnnnnnge, but I need that shit once in a while, keep me from resting on my hackery laurels. And also, I do favor the occasional bit of ACTION, yes I do. But yeah.
Also, in case you're all wondering "WTF is a kusarigama?" Here 'tis. Traditionally a ninja weapon - although it's sort of a fallback weapon for the ninja clans Blue's familiar with, who rely more on stabbity-things or traps rather than confrontational weapons like the kusarigama is fit for. Which is not to imply she didn't train with one, only that it's not a major weapon of the Mongoose Clan (Blue's peeps), and only frequently used by one clan that she knows of. Who are they, and what's their major malfunction? FIND OUT SOMETIME! Not today! Because I am evil! Muhahaha.

* Some beautifully evil video game commentary in the form of an eBay bid: I present to you Madden NFL 2006 (Xbox) Blight of the Videogame Industry. The ranting made me snort-laugh, and DAMN does this guy have some deliciously acerbic wit. Hilarious stuff.
* Average Jane may not have updated since April 16, but that doesn't stop it from being an excellent comic. Think: our everyday world, ALL gender roles reversed. Well-drawn, hilarious, and socially telling. Alex A. Lee-Goldman, I applaud you, and I ask you humbly to make more strips pleeeeeeeeeeze. Also her art is TEH BEAUTIFULS. Glomp.
* LA to NYC - a roadtrip across the country... in about 4 minutes. Really well-done stuff, well-edited, excellent soundtrack, neato through and through. WATCHY!
ANNOUCEMENT: I will be at Blizzcon. And dammed if I'm not entering the Costume Contest whilst I am there. What am I going as, you might ask? Well. You will get your pictures on Tuesday. And just be assured in the meantime that it rocks HARD-CORE (at least in my admittedly biased opinion). Hoo-rah.
