A little something different for you all today - something I'd wanted to try out, format-wise. No worries, I just wanted do to it for THIS comic, so if you don't like it, no worries, and if you do... um... tough shits? I dunno. But yeah.
Seriously, I need to hire someone to bounce my strip ideas off of, just so if I say "and it's set outdoors at night" they can slap me about the head until my face leaks. I've said before that night scenes are fun but a bitch to do, and I think where one strip outdoors at night is more "fun," every one beyond that moves rapidly towards "bitch to do." But I persevere. Why? Because I LUV YOUUUUUU. And stuff.
Side note because I feel like it: Did you catch Wednesday's Attack of the Show? I was on there, in a quick little one-second "LOOKIT PANDAREN!" camera sweep at the very end of the segment. But THURSDAY I got an entire line on the special of "Plight of the Murlocs," and I got the host to do a surprised blink-take. I think out of all the questions he asked me (and he talked to me for like five minutes, which is an eternity in Interview Time), that was my best (and weirdest) answer, and if anyone can make an icon of me grinning while Kevin Pereira does a blink-take, I will give you ONE MILLION DOLLARS! (actually maybe just like, a postcard or something cool. But it will be cool. Just not, you know, a million dollars).
I gotta run - spending weekend with the folks, and early flight out tomorrow - but be good, take care, and more funny on Tuesday! HUZZAH!
