LET IT BE KNOWN: I actually quite enjoy Naruto, just in case anyone accuses me of being a proverbial "hater." It's a neato take on the idea of ninja. But in a world where the classical standard is more correct (run with me here) the new one would seem kind of... crazy, yes? That being said, I do like that show. And my earlier use of the word jonin was actually out of the Wikipedia article on ninja (I had forgotten what those trowel-knives are called - kunai, by the way), not from the show... well, not explicitly, anyway. It's up to you if you think he's making an excuse. Hee.
Just so you know: go and donate to the Child's Play Charity RIGHT NOW. Help a sick kid to forget their pain for a little while with the power of gaming, and share the goodness of games with hospitals not only in the US, but now in Canada and England. The Child's Play charity is getting bigger and bigger each year and helping more and more kids - let's all do our part to help it reach those in need across the world!

He's clever, an excellent writer, my guide to the insanity of Japanese middle-schoolers and the world they live in, and above all... he's goddammed FUNNY. Go, therefore, and spend hours reading his stuff, and fill the air with your peals of laughter. GOOOOO!
* Ever feel a link... to that special someone? That even though you've never met, there's a spark between you that cannot be denied? Even if you know she doesn't really have purple hair, and he's not really a musclebound Night Elf, there's a connection? Well, if so (and even if not), you must watch this video and confirm that WoW is a Feeling. Aw yeah.
* SPEAKING of World of Warcraft, looks like Travelocity's Roaming Gnome has decided to take a trip to the wonderful world of Azeroth, and see what he thinks of the whole business. Behold, thus: TravelWoWcity!

* So: the fan made King's Quest IX got canceled, and that totally sucks nuts. IT DOES. BUT! If you are as upset about it as I am (and you better be!), join us in our fight to Save King's Quest IX - for REALS. It might not work, but dammit, we HAVE to TRY.
* Dante and Randall (of Clerks and such) discuss what would have to be done to get that sweet prize of prizes: The Flying Car. HELLA FUNNY. Oooo, and lookit: a truncated anime version! Hot damn!
