Annie and I hope you had a good tukey day. Ours was spent eating good food, playing video games, and setting up a computer for our friend Maurielle. I think I put away over half a pie today (half of a pumpkin, 1/8 of an apple)...which will put me well on my way towards coming close to last year's record. Though...I think I'll cut back on the pumpkin (others like it) and hit the apple a bit harder. I had been previously laying off of Apple pie due to it being overly sweet, but my dad started making it a bit differently (pour the sugar/cinnamon after the apples are in, rather than coating the apples before they go in), and it now goes down smooth.
Speaking of good food, there are some quite tasty Minnesota-grown apples I've gotten my teeth into, and wish I could buy them in CA. I don't know whether they are Honey Crisp or Fireside apples (I forgot to look at the sticker when I ate it), so I suppose I'll have to eat one of each tomorrow!
