Maintaining the Back End

Annie and I are doing a bit of laundry and packing our stuff to be on our way back home tomorrow. Many friends were seen, talked to, and entertained. I got to set up a computer for a friend, then redo my parents computer after a 3 second power outage caused their hard drive to have its head bounce across the platters in at least two places. So far, Spinrite 6 has helped, but I'm going to need to do a manual exraction of data via a hex editor, then reconstruct the files by reading all NTFS 5 documentation I possibly can and by writing a tool. Annie will be back with a real rant for Friday. Look forward to it *shake fist*.
