Go Go Casio
April 11, 2006
OH EM GEE! Can you believe it? Holy crap, a new site design! After so long of planning! And so many empty - er - delayed promises! BEHOLD THE GLORY!

I am sure you are quite overcome at this moment! But there is MORE! As I am now a full-fledged member of the illustrious Biscuit Press, I now have my own forum - so join up, chatter on the pages, read my fellow Biscuiteers' stuff, and joy in your newest Happy Place on the Internet! HOORAY!

But that's not ALL! Not even close! I don't half-ass this shizit, muthafugga! Web-Guy Josiah and I are all like "let's make this worth the wait!" So every single section is redone - including new shirts and stuff in the Store!

In case you were wondering: yes, this is because we loves you. Awwww.

But now I must flee - having done my magic here, we are needed elsewhere - huzzah! See you punks on Friday! Feel free to flock happily about here in the meantime - buy stuff, check out our links, meander joyously around this luxurious new setup - just be sure to turn out the lights and lock the door if you're the last one out. Security reasons, you know.

Welcome To the Playground,

"No One Else"

Indeed, this design was a long time coming. Annie got me the first portions of it way back in December of 2005, and I've been busy with other stuff. So...what was used to make the this page? Python. I use a ghetto templating mechanism in Python to save me from hand-coding all of the HTML, and/or generating HTML templates. I created functions which I then used to build up sections. In fact, each of these posts is a special post function, everything with a border is wrapped with a border function, every footer is generated with one footer function. As you can imagine, this makes it much easier to update the different templates than having to write everything by hand.

Arguably, everything that I'm finding convenient with using Python is the same reason why people use css...of course css has this ugly little problem that not all browsers support the stuff one uses. Ah well, I'll stick with the Python to HTML generation.
