New Threads, Same Asskickingness

Yes, folks, this is canon - Blue has herself a new look, at least as far as her ninjaing is concerned. I've been thinking about introducing a new style for a while now, and back in late December I asked (well, okay - begged) the talented Mr. Alex Diochon (of the Blue vs. Max art that still rocks my face right off) to give me some suggestions for a new design. And lo - like Athena from the head of Zeus - this and this leapt fully-formed from his brain, and I just spazzed out about how awesome it was. I wanted to go with his color scheme, but since I am 1) a hack and 2) lazy and don't shade things unless I HAVE to, I couldn't get the bronze trim to not look like ass, and thus tweaked it to that nice grayish-blue shade to be more friendly to my hackery. But overall? Huzzah, says I. Alex, I am forever in your debt like whoa.
Also... how COOL is Blue going to look kicking ass as a ninja now? Well - I did whip up a little wallpaper for you guys to see. Just a little look. Nab big version, resize as you see fit. And yes, that is a little Booger-shaped diddilybob on the end of her sword. That is all Alex right there. You see how awesome he is? SO awesome.
Oh, before I forget - sorry about going AWOL on Tuesday. Web Guy Josiah neglected to mention that I was feeling like refried ass (when someone tells you that you look "kinda like hell" and you feel that way precisely, it's time to take it easy, methinks), and instead just delivered you your funny and went on his merry way. He's so taciturn when it comes to the comicness, I have to chuckle. I feel that so often I portray him as the long-suffering straight man in the comic, and while he does put up with me being totally crazy more often than he should have to, he ALSO engages in his fair share of being insane. Just had to throw that out there, in case you might have ever wondered how our marriage stays together. It is because we love each other, and also because we're both completely psycho. The end!

* You want hilarity? You want funny? You want the best crank calls in the history of ever? Look no further than the crazy Blackout of Blackout's Box. I give mad props to this guy... his "Quanticles" just floored me - despite it being in RealAudio ::shudder:: and over 30 minutes long, you've gotta listen to it. At one point he is doing 4 separate voices at once, so well that it almost seems like they're overlapping. Insanity level ELEVEN.
* Holy crap, an entire shrine made to - and out of - marshmallow Peeps. I really shouldn't have to say anything more about this to get you to go and see.
* I feel compelled to remind you that even though AccioBrain! and Krooked K have nothing whatsoever to do with one another, they are both super cool. That is all.
