Burp of Stunning +5
June 6, 2006
First: OMG TEH DATES IZ TEH NUMBAR OF TEH BEASTE! GWAAAAAAAR! TEH END IZ NIE!!!!111ONE!

(so you can see what I think of all that folderol first. Anyhow.)

This comic was basically compelled by various incidents over... well, basically the past EVER, as I am not the demure and shrinking violet you doubtlessly all imagine me to be. Among almost everyone I very carefully cover my mouth and basically put up a giant smoke screen between any kind of belching and the rest of the world, but if I'm alone or you happen to be either Josiah or one of my CLOSE-close friends with whom I have established a knowing bond of Thinking These Sort of Things Is Totally Funny, I will burp like a 13-year-old boy who's had too much soda. I take it as a symbol of pride that I was there when, in my 8th grade year, a young man named Josh Broadbent burped so loud it shook the windows of the Subway in which we were seated.

But well do I know the deadliness of burps if you've eaten the wrong thing (as I have earlier shown). Some things will just make you a walking odor bomb for a while - even the most demure post-Coke mini-burp will make Josiah recoil like I just poked a dead raccoon under his nose (I think he's a bit hypersensitive to that sort of thing, but I myself advocate being aware of the potent power of Coke burps and their potentially destructive effects). So enjoy your burps, lads and lasses (and lasses, fie on those lads who somehow think their only their gender gets to burp out loud. They are dumbheads), but remember well the terrible power they can hold. CONSTANT VIGILANCE! But yeah.

I should run, but honestly, I have to put forth a really strong personal recommendation here a moment. My friends Lem (of Lethal Doses), Mike, and The Internet's Dave introducted me to a singer/songwriter named Jonathan Coulton during E3, and holy shit, I have not been able to get enough of the guy SINCE. If you have not yet heard "Code Monkey," go to his Music page and LISTEN TO IT FOR FUCK'S SAKE, it's so good, and while you're on there you might as well buy everything he's got for sale. I've yet to find something of his that I don't really, really like, and I flat-out LOVE a lot of his stuff. He's also got a fan over at Adobe - Mike Spiff Booth - who's come up with some really dynamite music videos (using World of Warcraft, wheeee!) for "Re: Your Brains" and "Just as Long as Me". So get the music, watch the videos, and enjoy the goodness. YAY. And such.

And now I FLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE see you punks on Friday! ::ninja VANISH!::
