Strange Fruit
September 12, 2006
Josiah and I have seriously heard that line before - that exact line - and we too were quick to heap scorn upon it. I mean, I may not know everything about fruit, I do not claim to be some kind of produce-ologist: but come ON. That is all I will say. Suffice to say we were unconvinced, and remain so. Made for an entertaining discussion, though, I will give it that ::grin::

I here give continuing thanks to both the amazingly talented and kind guest artists who have graced this site with their work, and you kind readers who have perservered uncomplainingly as I update but once a week in order to get my badass awesome game done. I couldn't pull this off without both groups being entirely wonderful peoples, and I lay my sincere gratitude at your feet. I look forward to being able to update twice a week again (and a triumphant return to STORYLINE! After SO LONG! Ah, sweetness and joy, beloved winsome continunity... at least for the nonce, as I am a fickle mistress in writing's regard. Which sounds more poetic than just admitting I'm a hack, which is very true) - as it stands I am using the "extra time" I have to 1) work and 2) sleep, which is good as an excess of 1 causes a loss of 2, which often happens. But I crave to complete this game and give it to the public, because (as I have said, and shall keep saying) I love it and think it is a really stupendous work, and I cannot WAIT to how people react to it and what they will do with the toolset (...and also having a vacation, if only for a week, would be rather nice, but that's all yet). But yeah. In short? Thank you. It does mean the world to me.

Ah, alas - 2 calls so that I might get to 1 early (that is, sleep -> work, lest you think I was making some kind of horrible oblique reference to bathroom mechanics), so I shall bid thee a farewell again - but NOT before I again put forth a reminder about the forums, and how you should join and hang out. It'll be awesome. We have biscuits there and everything. Delicious, Internet biscuits. HOW CAN YOU LOSE! HOO-RAY!
