Yarrrrr, that's what be happenin' when the Annie can't think o' a good title for a comic right away - she loots the name from one o' her favorite band's albums, the scurvy wench!
...Because yes, it is Talk Like A Pirate Day, which rather interestingly enough I did not know about until Monday evening, when the comic - featuring a ninja - was already up in the docket. Woo, hilarity! And yes that is the title of a Freezepop album. I thought it fit well enough. That's the unsung part of comedy, naming shit appropriately. Sadly, I am a hack at that too. Anyhow!
Progress with game proceeds apace! Now, though, I am still aiming for guest strips, but as the end is near they will be doing time for whenever it is that I will be out of town, enjoying my first vacation since Christmas. See how hard I work for you people? But feel no sorrow, for I love what I do. But hitting that gold master and getting a break for five days or so - man, that will be appreciated. I'm already planning to introduce my older brother to Guitar Hero - the dark god that lives within the game demands more victims, and I am but its willing slave. SO MUCH FUN. But yes, ahem - your guest comics, ladies and gentlemen, are succulent, beautiful things, and I crave them so that I may continue to get precious things like sleep and food. They are much appreciated, and I assure you with all the fervor that my wee frame can produce that once things stabilize, I will keep Annie-created, I'm Blue funny coming at you, twice a week like before. I am a wench of my word, this is so.
Darting out for the nonce - Barry Neeson (whom I should bake a cake for, and who should resurrect his defult webcomic Hungover 1) so I could link him and 2) because it was SUPAR AWESOM) will be back to continue his "magic scooter saga" crossover on Friday - and you all should proceed to (judiciously) keep it real in the meantime. Be well, peoples.
