I will say that in theory, I could have also done this, although theoretically I would likely be wise and stop about halfway through to vainly attempt to preserve my brain from the madness. Sure, humor abounds, and much about it is hilarious - but there also remains a subset that I cannot watch without... well, I can't watch it without putting my hands over my eyes, which somewhat defeats the purpose of being able to watch it at ALL, and yeah. I think you see where I am going with this, so I will just call it quits for that line of thought and lamely point you at the comic.

ANYHOW. Had a great vacation! T'was good to visit friends and family and enjoy the warmth of Arizona (not like warmth is something that Southern California is bereft of, but you get the idea. Or I imagine you do, which is good enough for me at the moment), and much fun was had, and relaxing happened. I got some quality time with Okami, downed three colossi in Shadow of the Colossus, kicked Rez around a bit more, and OBLITERATED Franz Ferdinand's "Take Me Out" on Guitar Hero (in lame mode, yes, but I'm relearning everything, so don't belittle my 233 note streak, meanies) - all while yearning for Psychonauts at the same time. I also read the entirety of Steven Kent's excellent The Ultimate History of Video Games on the drive, which is a wonderful and illuminating read. Big surprise, huh, me reading a book about video games, I know! But the Annie recommends.

In more key (as in, "this applies to your interaction with this website") news, I'm going to be fidgeting and fussing around with getting back on schedule and doing the final fiddly stuff to close out my extremely awesome game before it's on store shelves (OCTOBER 31, DO NOT HESITATE TO BUY IT. IN FACT YOU SHOULD HAVE ALREADY PRE-ORDERED IT. THE SPECIAL EDITION. THERE'S STILL TIME TO DO IT RIGHT NOW), so bear with us. Also, holy crap, Chris Avellone totally crowned me nerd queen of console trivia in this interview and didn't even tell me about it. Awwww! Thanks, Chris! ...Also, it is an awesome interview and you should read it. You should be reading everything about our game and also buying it even if you don't have a computer. Just curl close to the warm glow of the box, stroke its cover gently, and breathe in the sweet smell of dreams that eminates from it. It's good stuff. I won't say it cures cancer, but it doesn't not. Cure things. Maybe leprosy. Or hangnails. You should totally all buy a copy and find out.

Ah yes - I should bid you all a fondue, as I get my things back in order and get to the business of comicking. More from me later - to your collective glee (or dismay, but I should hope it does not tend to that side of the spectrum).
