Gnarrrrgh... so Sunday was the Day of Annie Finally Actually Goes To Work Out, which was great and all, but was a painful reminder of how out of shape I am. Painful also because all of yesterday AND today, I felt like this:
Basically as if my arms had just been wailed on for hours by a team of enraged circus midgets, flailing away painfully with their little fists. It must have been rather weird to see me at work - stretching my arms and wincing, attempting to do my usual enthusiastic talking-with-hands only to have me make feeble finger twitches, trying to nonchalantly point at something and talk only to go "Ugh! Oww..." right in the middle of a sentence. Severely ungood. It is also somewhat tricksy to type, which is why I'm going to wimp out on you and instead link you to several crazy awesome videos in what I love to call our LINKSTRAVAGANZA!
* Rap isn't my favorite genre of music. However, I applaud the wordsmiths who can really make the genre shine - MF Doom, Mos Def, MC Chris, the king of the nerdcore MC Frontalot, and others - and like the proverbial jib-cut of certain artists. One such is Lady Soverign, whose video I advise you to watch. It is awesome not just because of tetris, but other reasons as well, including hamster angel. Awww. UNDEAD HAMSTER ANGEL RARRRRRRRRR. Watch it!
* Badger video! Kenya video! WORLD OF WARCRAFT STYLE BOYEEEE!
* And even if on the off chance you're not a fan of World of Warcraft, you should still watch this video of Weird Al's "Hardware Store" in WoW. Crazy-well done, super hilarious, and WHY AREN'T YOU WATCHING IT RIGHT NOW.
* Roller Coaster Tycoon 3. Nonviolent game, right? Except for OMG LIEK BLOODBATH!!!!111ONE! Shocking!
* Seriously, I would try to explain this one, but it would take all the fun out. Just watch it.
