Nice new bit of news! You might notice a new little linkey-graphic attached to this site: that there is a favicon, and the use of one was suggested to me by alert reader Zac, to whom I give massive shout-outs for being awesome and helpful. When you see that little favicon sayin' hey to you when you look at an I'm Blue link, that's Zac helpin' out. Solid!
News in the life of the Annie? Not much, except I'm still sick like whoa and for some reason I get a headache when I turn my head to the left. Now, I don't know how much you all move your heads around on a daily basis, but in my case it is usually more than a little bit, and this pain is - how to put it - goddamn fucking annoying as all hell, to put it mildly. I didn't even realize how much I typically moved my head to the left, but walking through a Trader Joe's was a uniquely painful experience because not everything interesting was just on the right side of the aisle, you know? It would be all like "oh, is that organic chicken bro - OH JESUS MY FUCKING BRAIN!" I am just happy I did not shriek such aloud but merely substituted a wince and a noise like "guh." Still not pleasant. In the least. If you have a theory as to the mysterious fuck-up-age of my neck and brain, please submit it in an email to me OR, better yet, in the forums, which I would appreciate. Then we can all talk about it and laugh about how I am probably going to die. Hooray!

* Nerdcore Rising is an awesomesauce upcoming documentary about nerdcore rap that I cannot effing WAIT for, and in the meantime the pair behind it - Kimmy and Negin of Vaguely Qualified Productions - have created a feature called Nerd of the Week. The first one is about PAX, it is awesome, you should watch it, and also GIVE THEM MONEY so they can make more awesome stuff. DO IT! We all want you to! All the cool kids are doing it! I did it and I'm cool! It will make you even cooler if you're already cool! COME ONNNNNNNNN!
* So there's this Japanese energy drink, right? I think it's an energy drink. I think I speak for everyone when I say - if it REALLY let you do all the cool shit it shows in the commercial, I would drink that stuff EVERY DAMN DAY, even if it tasted like rat puke. Because - shit, just watch that commercial. You'll feel the same way (even if you are a dude).
* So my great home state of Arizona put up a webpage called Law for Kids (no, don't go there. I linked it for posterity. Or go, let the page load, and leave immediately) that has really stupid, ugly cartoons. And this being the INTERBLAG, in about ten minutes a whole site popped up totally making fun of it. And as is usually the case, the parody site is way more fun to read. It's open submission, though - if you are not aware of what that means on the webtubes, you will soon find out.
* So they made a remake of the movie The Wicker Man. And GOD was it rancid. But? Apparently dammed hilarious when taken out of context. But you know? I don't even think context helps in this situation. I don't think there is enough context in the ENTIRE WORLD to make sense of the phrase "KILLING ME WON'T BRING BACK YOUR GODDAMN HONEY!!" You think I'm joking? You think I'm lying? Just watch the clip. And oh god, wtf bearsuit omg. The end.
* So the new male dranei dance from World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade is from the music video for Tunak Tunak Tun, right? You got it? Everyone should just rewatch that video. OK. OK? Now watch this one. HILARITY AND I LOVE IT (even though I hate the filthy Alliance and the dranei's fishy fish catfish faces).
