A Unique Pointer
April 17, 2007
Ah, the infamous Protip. This same phrase - albeit veiled - is tossed about more than a little (mostly by myself) on Friday game nights at work, and I cannot deny that I take a vicious little joy in it. C'mon - a lass has got to have her fun, right? So say I.

I apologize heartily for sort of wimping out on you guys last week: it was a time fraught with shit to do and little time to do it in, and thankfully the brave souls Chris Avellone and Lee Cherolis stepped up and saved my ass. Raise a glass to those brave and awesome guys - and wail, ladies, that they are taken by women with brains and beauty to match 'em! Huzzah, and yay, and also other stuff. It is much appreciated, gents.

Holy shit. What the fuck is with the "True" ads everywhere? First there's a fake-bewbed chick in football gear (I swear to god) all over Thottbot when I want to check stuff for World of Warcraft, and then all of a sudden there's beefcake when I look at an entry on someone's MySpace page. What's more - THAT ad said "Boyfriend season is right around the corner!" And of course I thought "There's a season for that? Jesus. And I've been going around shooting them all year! Next thing you're gonna do is tell me I need a license for that shit! Gaaaaaaaaaaaaawd." Oh, Internets. You so CRA-ZAY.

Speaking of crazy things on the Internets... oh no look out it is (replacement) LINKSTRAVAGANZA!

* From Oxhorn and his hilarious WoW videos comes the Anti-Elf Anthem and the joy of ROLFMAO!

* Castlevania songs played on a GIANT PIPE ORGAN. No foolin'.

* 10 Maxims Every FPS Should Follow - educational and awesome at the same time!

* TWO awesome new webcomics - BugReport and WereGeek! Savor the delicious nerdery!

* And finally, last but not least and submitted by the alert readerness of Chris S - Steven Lynch performing "D&D"! Radsauce.

That's it for me - on Friday I LIVE AGAAAAAAAAIN!

Alpha Nerd,
Annie "Blue" C

Where else would I go?
