I have to admit to a bit of a personal connection here: I suffer from the same condition as described in the comic. I'll not ruin it, but anyone who has played that particular game with me knows well of this malady. I'd say it's half the fun, but that's me saying it, and not the people who have to deal with me - who well have their own opinions on the matter, I would venture. Opinions that probably range from amusement to setting me on fire, but I'm not 100% certain - the survey results haven't come back in just yet. I'll keep you posted.
Hey, listen up: I shall do like I do and let you in on something awesome, and that awesome thing is KakkoiCon, a convention of incredible awesomeness that is happening NEXT YEAR in Minneapolis that is going to be preposterously awesome. It's still in the early stages of unfolding, but me being the crazy-about-town that I am, I have an IN to what's shaking, and holy crap it continues to get better and better. I'm not even saying this to get you to register (because it's so far in advance) but because I'm goddamn hyped about it and I'm working early on letting you know that you should be too. Anime folderol, gaming stuffness, delicious nerdery of all shapes/sizes/colors - it will be delish. And you guys know I wouldn't lie to you - we be peeps, and suchlike. Keep your eye on things as they develop!
Man. Do I need to tell everyone again how awesome Templar, AZ is? I suppose I don't, but man - it's really fuckin' good. Just sayin' is all. If you haven't been a reader, don't freak out - less than 175 pages, still goin' on, hop in and enjoy yourself. Really choice.
Alas - aside from something entirely hilarious and wrong - that's about all I got for you tonight. OH, and me begging for guest strips for next week while I'm on vacation. That'd help quite a bit. Imagine me grinning sheepishly, my dears, and you will have completed the picture. My hope is that the charmingness of that mental picture will do things like acquire me an Xbox 360, a pet dinosaur, and a Harrier Jet - but for right now I'm going to stick with the guest strips and move on from there. It would not do to overestimate my percieved charmingness. That shit will get you smacked in the face.
