Guest Strip by Josh Purple - Spoke Too Soon
July 6, 2007
And so it was that Thursday that the cry went out from Annie's lips "Alas and alack! I have been busy with work and moving and unpacking all week that fie and oh crap there is no comic for today! What am I to do?!" And the great following cries of "OMG" and "OH NOES" came from the land, for this was a dreadful thing indeed and foretold the coming of another sketch comic, upon whose lines would be writ all the exhaustion and lack of foresight that was contained in Annie's foolish blond form.

BUT LO! From the distance! Out of nowhere and entirely unexpected came a champion, new and alert reader Josh Purple, graduate of Annie & Web Guy Josiah's own badass alma mater, and with his art skills of supreme awesomeitude he brought forth a GUEST COMIC in the nick of time, and thus saved the land. And so grateful was the Annie that she crafted her rant in a bizarre medieval style about this deed, and gave mad shout-outs and dropped wicked props to him throughout the land.

So let it be known! Josh is rad and he totally just saved my ass - and all of you - from a sketch comic. Normal comics shall resume duly on Tuesday (as ideally I shall actually have my shit unpacked by then) but in the meantime you should dash to the forums and thank him for his kindness and badassery.

And now, gentle readers, I Hate To Do This To You - in that clichéd caps phrasing - but I gots to go avoid dying of Tired right now, so I shall leave you with Josh's awesome comic and repeated assurances of comic for Tuesday. Do I gots to say again how much I love you, baby? You should know this. But I loves you. You are in fact possibly my "boo." I don't even know what that is, or if it's legal, but man, I tell you baby, it's for reals.

Sincereasaurus Rex,
Annie "Blue" C

No one can fix it cause no one knows how
