With Annie at PAX, what could you expect but Josiah posting the comic on Friday morning rather than Thursday night? Well, better late than never I suppose. Then again, technically I'm Blue is on hiatus, and the fact that any comics have been posted at all should (arguably) be considered a gift. :/
This bench strip was completed by me on March 4, 2000. I certainly wasn't the first bench strip, and definitely wasn't the funniest, but I don't think it was half bad. For a while, I kept an archive and read every bench strip created (even those not posted to the front page of penny-arcade). I think I stopped after a couple weeks when there were (I'm not kidding), over 5000 bench strips, and PA could no longer handle the hosting (it was killing their servers). Never mind all of the time it was sucking away from my sophomore year of college.
Anyways, I hope you enjoy (arguably) the funniest comic I've ever written.
